Jobiit is a marketplace app that connects homeowners with verified, insured local traders. Post a job, get matched with a vetted trader who sends an itemised quote, book, and pay securely — all in one app.
Jobiit is available across Ireland. Traders set their own service area, so your job is only ever matched to a trader who covers your area.
Jobiit is available and can be downloaded on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
For homeowners
Download the app, create a free account, and browse available services. Describe the work, add photos, choose a category, and set your timeline. It takes about 30 seconds.
It depends on the job and your location, but most homeowners receive a quote within a few hours.
Jobiit matches your job to one vetted local trader — closest and best-rated first — and you review their profile, reviews, and itemised quote before booking. Some traders also offer direct booking, so you can book them straight from the app. Either way, you're never obliged to hire.
You can cancel before work begins at no cost. Our full cancellation policy is in our terms of service.
For traders
Download the Jobiit Toolbox app, create an account, and complete the verification process. You'll need valid insurance, ID, and relevant qualifications.
Most applications are reviewed and approved within 24 hours.
Yes. You see all available jobs in your area and trade category. Quote on the ones that interest you and skip the rest.
Pricing & payments
Yes, completely. Posting a job, receiving your quote, and messaging your trader costs you nothing. You only pay the agreed price for the work itself.
Traders pay a small platform fee on completed jobs only. No sign-up cost, no monthly fee, no lead charges.
Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe.
Trust & safety
Every trader undergoes ID verification, insurance validation, and business checks before they can quote on jobs. We continuously monitor insurance expiry and qualifications.
Use the in-app dispute resolution process. If you and your trader can't agree, our support team mediates.
